Amid a fresh pandemic wave threat, the World Health Organization (WHO) has released new recommendations for COVID-19 management for those who contract the deadly illness. According to WHO, their recommendations for "mask wearing in community settings, COVID-19 therapy, and clinical management" have been modified.
The new guidelines recommended that everyone continue using masks and get booster doses of the vaccine to stop the virus′ spread. The global organization also stated that if a person exhibits symptoms of an infection, he should be isolated for at least 10 days from the onset of the symptoms. As for the asymptomatic COVID patients, or individuals who have tested positive for the virus but do not experience any symptoms, they should be isolated for 5 days.
